4 workshops were held with the Firs School, Science group in Chester, UK on the 10th, 17th, 31st January and the 7th February. In these workshops students made 2 of the AutoSTEM automata, the Balloon car and the Dancing Doll. Once the initial designs were constructed the final sessions examined ways to improve the mechanisms to produce better results. After the workshops, the teacher followed on by holding further workshops and constructing other automata.
